| Bio: | I believe that when a marriage ends, divorce doesn’t have to mean lasting damage, especially when children are involved. If two people are no longer happy together, they deserve to move forward and build happy, separate lives. But when kids are in the picture, how parents divorce matters just as much as that they are divorcing. I’m committed to helping families separate in a way that preserves relationships, minimizes conflict, and keeps children out of the middle. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience, I bring this commitment to two roles within the collaborative process. As a coach, I work with the couple and the collaborative team to help keep communication effective, support them through difficult decisions, and keep the focus on what matters most for the family throughout the process. As a child specialist, I draw on two decades of work with kids and teens, having talked with many children of all ages, through all kinds of transitions, to bring each child’s voice directly into the process and help parents stay connected to their children’s experience along the way. I believe collaborative divorce is the model that best makes this possible, and I’m honored to help families navigate their divorce with care. |
