CPSV is part of a state organisation of attorneys, therapists and financial experts who are working on promoting divorce solutions that are out of court.
It’s called Collaborative Practice California and is part of a larger organisation called International Association of Collaborative Professionals. IACP was just nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
California collaborative practioners have started an initiative that is expanding on a national level called Divorce With Respect Week. The effort is to raise awareness of the public around more peaceful options than litigation for divorce.
Members of Collaborative Professionals California are asking cities to endorse a proclamation for recognition in their city of Divorce With Respect Week, March 6-10, 2023.

Divorce With Respect Week promotes peaceful, private, family centered, out of court options for divorcing families. This happens at a grass roots level with public education and professionals providing alternatives that support the entire family system.
