Tonita E Wroolie
Clinical Psychologist, Board Certified in Geropsychology
Address: 220 S. California Ave., Ste. 115A
Palo Alto, CA 94306
Phone: 650-799-9342
Bio: I am a clinical psychologist with specialized training in both geropsychology and neuropsychology. I have lifetime board certification in geropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABGERO) and have recently been elected to fellow status in the Adult Development and Aging division of the American Psychological Association. For three years, I served as a study group member in Santa Rosa that sought to develop collaborative law in Trusts & Estates as well as Civil Law and am currently a member of the Trusts & Estates committee of CPSV. I hold a position as a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and head the neurocognitive lab in the Center for Neuroscience in Women’s Health where we conduct research on early risk for Alzheimer’s disease. I conduct psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessments in the department’s outpatient clinic as well as in my private practice in Palo Alto. I am a board member for Advanced Collaborative Team Solutions, Inc., a non-profit California Public Benefit Corporation that provides low-cost collaborative law services to residents in Santa Rosa County. I serve as an advocate/elder specialist as well as conduct diagnostic neuropsychological evaluations, including assessing for diminished capacity, and help families understand issues and behaviors related to cognitive decline and dementia.
